about me
My name is Ryan Jackson & I am a Holistic Health & Movement Therapist.
Prior to being a therapist I was a self-employed Concretor & Landscaper which was coupled with a toxic lifestyle of neglect & abuse of my mental / physical health. A sudden turn of unfortunate events (car accident, injury & personal loss) at the age of 22 forced me to deeply reflect upon the un-serving patterns & habits I had developed within my mind & body.
This is where my journey of rebuilding myself began. Through self enquiry & higher awareness of the ways I was carrying my mind and body through life, I was lead to study and seek the deepest truths of what it means to live & love a sustainable way of life.
My passion is movement, & life is movement. It is forever moving, and flowing in, through & out of us. Therefore my passion is to facilitate, co-create and guide people through the neccesary movement that is sure to lead them from where & who they are now, to who & where they most deeply desire to be.
I offer this guidance and mentorship through my own Orenda Mind | Movement Method. This method has been established through my own personal extensive experience, training and the application of multiple modalities of influence; including the work of Paul Chek, Gwyn Williams, Ido Portal, Bodyweight Calisthenics, Yoga Asana, Gymnastics Strength and Flexibility Training.
Connection is a huge part of this journey and my life as a whole. I’m extremely passionate about reshaping people’s connection to themselves - physically and mentally - as well as their connection with their loved ones, their extended communities and the planet.
In an ever rapidly growing world of technological dependence it’s more important now than ever to stay centred and connected to what’s real in the truest & deepest sense of our nature as humans.
